Anointed Art and More was birthed in 1999 out of prayer and intercession. Albena Thurmond left a full-time job as an elementary teacher to become a full-time Prayer Warrior and intercessor when initially inspired to produce paintings sold through this site. 

"Prayer was and is a part of my daily life.

It began long before I understood intercessory prayer. I would awake during the night or early morning praying for others. I was compelled to pray, often not being able to see the person's face but knew what the problem was, I prayed until the problem was gone. Once he/she was free from their struggle or had overcome, I was able to go to sleep. After I left my job, I would get up early in the morning and often times intercession would run into the evening, because there was no concept of time. While reading the scripture and praying, I would hear the voice of God say, "Go paint." Many paintings were revealed by the guidance of my hands through the Holy Spirit. There are some that had an impact so much so that they deserved to be duplicated, becoming prints. I hope you are blessed as you look upon each painting and print.
